Zee’s Playlist – March 2017
Musically march was not a very productive month for me, not sure what could be the reason? might be typical Chicago’s chilly weather (except few 60 degrees days) and my stupid laziness. I continue to collect riffs and melody ideas for new songs but they are quite far from reality, personally I am feeling that I should start writing new stuff, its just a matter of time I will get my head straight and jump into the pool (not a warm swimming pool) 🙂
Live band is doing well , we’ve got settled with new drummer Bill and he is awesome. We are getting ready to play at Reggies’ Music Joint on Friday April 28th with Tiles and Sonus Umbra. This would be our longest set as we are planning to play around 1 hour but in PROG you know it’s only few songs (haha), gladly our set includes only 2 epics, we will be debuting Blood Moon for the first time so join us on this special occasion. If you want discounted tickets click this link and book your tickets plus first 20 will get a FREE t-shirt as well (now 8 left). I’ve prepared few songs on a backing tracks for some keyboards parts so band can feel the full vibe and it does makes a difference band is playing tight and enjoying all together.
I have been reading few books got half way through Phil Collins – Not Dead Yet and its quite fun read, also on the side reading some technical music orchestration books as well.
